As we prep for 2012, help us take a look back at what we've lost. Gone But Not Forgotten: Music Stars We Lost in 2011 These huge talents may have passed away this year, but they'll always be remembered.

Floyd Mayweather Sentenced to 90 Days in Jail

A Las Vegas judge just sentenced Floyd Mayweather to 90 days in jail for beating up his baby mama, Josie Harris, in front of their kids. Floyd was arrested for the incident in September 2010 after his ex-girlfriend accused him of hitting her "multiple times in the head with his fist" and then threatening to kill her. Floyd allegedly was fired up after she told him she was dating someone new. Floyd struck a plea deal in order to drop the felony battery charge by pleading guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence for beating his ex-girlfriend. He also plead no contest to two misdemeanor harassment charges, after he allegedly threatening to abuse his children during the incident. In addition to his jail sentence Floyd was ordered to complete 100 hours of community service and a 12-month domestic violence program and was fined $2,500. Source:

Mystikal Signs With Cash Money

The Cash Money family just keeps on growing! Just nearly a month after signing Busta Rhymes, Birdman and Slim signed Mystikal to their roster. Birdman was ecstatic about the deal, saying "It is an honor to get the opportunity to work with Mystikal, as we have a long history together. He is a great artist and his talent, combined with our hard work and strong team, is going to result in some of the best music of his career. We are expecting great work from Mystikal. Slim and I already have him in the studio working on his first album for Cash Money." Mystikal will drop his first single, "Original" featuring Lil Wayne and Baby, tonight on New York's Hot 97. He also spoke out about joining forces with Cash Money since being out of the game for quite some time now. "It has been a truly long time since I have felt like a rapper and with this signing, and partnership, Birdman and Slim have given me my life as a rapper back. I am ready to go. I am going to put my red Superman drawers, cape and boots on and go! This is a huge moment for me and I am truly excited to be with Cash Money Records." Plies Faces Shooting Lawsuit

Rapper Plies is facing a $10,000,000 lawsuit involving a July 2006 nightclub shooting. Five plaintiffs were injured at a shooting that took place at the West Nightclub in Gainesville, Florida. Ice Cube Serious About 4th Friday?

He began hinting at it earlier this year, but it looks like Ice Cube really could be attempting to resurrect his popular Friday film series. And original film star Chris Tucker might actually be on board. TMZ claims that a Cube Vision Production rep said that the movie is going to happen. “Absolutely yes the studio is in the process of getting the entire original cast to do another Friday," the rep says. "[Ice Cube] is very excited about this and has every intention to make it happen.” Nothing has been made official yet, however. No actors have been contractually bound for the project and there's no word if Mike Epps, who 'replaced' Tucker in the sequels, will have a part in the project.

Questions Raised Over WYCLEF JEAN's Yele Haiti Fund

In the months following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, a charity run by hip-hop star Wyclef Jean spent a pittance of the money it took in on disaster relief and doled out millions in questionable contracts. Yele Haiti's coffers swelled to $16 million in 2010, the most the charity had ever received. But less than a third of that went to emergency efforts, and $1 million was paid to a Florida firm that doesn't seem to exist, The Post has learned. Jean's charity, which he founded in 2005 with his cousin Jerry Duplessis, was already troubled when the earthquake struck Haiti on Jan. 12, 2010. The Post reported in 2008 that it had never filed a required tax form detailing its spending with the IRS. The group lost $244,000 in 2009. But hours after the earthquake hit, Jean took to Twitter to beg for $5 donations. An avalanche of donations poured in. Almost immediately, allegations surfaced that the former Fugees singer had used the charity's cash for his own benefit. Critics found that four years earlier Yele Haiti had steered $250,000 to a Haitian TV station controlled by Jean and Duplessis.

police absolutely right by letting this elderly lady stay in her home.

Salute to these police and the movers. Tempuratures in the 30′s and raining outside, still 103 Vinia Hall and her 83 year old daughter were scheduled to be evicted. The Bank officials sent the police and the movers out to the home to evict the two elderly women. For the banks benefit I hope they didn’t know how old these women were. Ms Vinia Hall has lived at this house for 53 years, why does she still have a mortgage anyway ? Im sure the bank and Mrs Hall will come to some kind of agreement on this situation because its horrible public relations to kick two elderly women out on the street during winter time. Most of the times you see articles of post bashing the police but, people never support them when they do the right thing. In this case the police absolutely were right by letting this elderly lady stay in her home.
