Miami, FL, September 17th, 2017– For over two decades, Slip N Slide Records has reigned supreme as the premier representation of homegrown hip-hop in Dade County. Today, our reputation became even stronger in South Florida with the newest addition to the squad, rapper Mike Smiff. After housing legendary lyricists like Trick Daddy,Trina, and Plies, Slip-N-Slide Records made the right call to sign Smiff in order to further his career and help him flourish as an artist.
The announcement comes shortly after the release of Mike Smiff’s upcoming mixtape Chase Dis Money, featuring lead singles “Chase Dis Money” and “Set It Off.” Smiff joins the roster alongside Teenear, Sebastian Mikael, Swazy, Plies, Trina, and Trick Daddy.
Born and raised in Miami, Mike Smiff is no stranger to the hip hop world. Along with co-signs from Boosie Badazz and Kodak Black, his longtime mentor Trick Daddy has name dropped Mike's name and vibe in several interviews with strong claims that Smiff got next in South Florida. Other South Florida rappers like Ball Greezy, Billy Blue, Yung Gordon, Young Breed & more have all given their many blessings to Smiff on his new venture.
"I'm no longer an underground, independent artist," Smiff said about his first record deal. "It's official man, I just signed my 1st record deal. I worked so hard man, been through so much. It was all worth it man. Shit don't feel real! I really got a deal yo! Down South Dade County. Let's play ball!! Show da world."
